quick visit

We had a wonderful visit with our dear friend Max, although a quick one. Max had a family emergency he had to attend to that caused his visit to end abruptly before Thanksgiving. We were very sad to have him leave early, but were grateful he was able to be with his brother that lives in San Fransisco. We were able to find a flight for him easily and not too expensive.

The kids are back to the school schedule...for a few weeks until Christmas break. They have a school music concert and a church Christmas play in Dec. Will be busy.

Here's my grump of the moment...Have you noticed no one prints "Merry Christmas" anymore? It is actually difficult to find anything with the words Merry Christmas. I do not get it!! That is what we're celebrating!! I'm not offended or threatened about Hannukah, Kwanzaa or any other religion observing their holidays...but this is the Christmas season. So say it!! Even Haley noticed all the things in Wal-Mart that say Happy Holidays...but no MC. Weird! They can try to erase Jesus presence all they want...but the truth is He is the One and Only Son of God and the the One and Only Redeemer!!

Stay away from "happy holidays"....and run to "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!"

Thankyou for the beautiful words... It's always so nice to come over, be with you, and share all the love there is in your family.
Max.
