Florida

Florida was a blast! Beautiful weather! Crystal clear, blue water. Here's the kid's first steps into the ocean.

Sophia LOVED the pool with the "big green slide". We all got to take turns going up the stairs with her for a few days. She finally got the courage to go by herself and must have walked 5 miles those days hiking up the stairs to go down the slide. :)

The kids went to "Kids Club" one afternoon...ie...."Parents go have a quite meal and snorkel alone for the afternoon club". :) They were the only ones there that afternoon. The girls got their faces painted and were quite the little rockstars when they showed up at the pool. Kids were stopping them and asking where they got it done. And moms were even asking where they did it and how could they get signed up? I think we should have gotten some sort of discount for the promotion. haha
The view from our balcony. Gorgeous!

We spent one afternoon at the Sailfish marina. That was lots of fun. We took a boat tour of all the mansions of Palm Beach. Wow! our house would fit in their boat houses.

Our final day we toured the Jupiter Lighthouse and the Sea Turtle hospital. Both were fun. The sea turtles are soooo cute!
E& H at the top of the lighthouse. Sophia was too small to go up. And I had cut my foot on a piece of reef the 1st day, so walking was a little tough. But Jon and E&H thought it was pretty cool.

Last day at resort.

I think the only hiccup we had was our flight got cancelled coming home. So we spent one more night in West Palm Beach. They have a really neat downtown area. So we spent the evening down there. The next day we flew home no problems.

Sophia woke up yesterday morning and asked, "Where are we going today? Are we going to the beach? Are we going on a plane?" Awww Sophia...wish it were that easy!

Stay away from reef....and run to the beach.
