Sophia turned 5 last week. She had a wonderful day. She got to have a party at preschool. We walked into her class to find all the kids somewhat resembling...shall I say...Hitler. Let me backup....the kids get a mark on their left hands to indicate it is their left hand. For the 1st time this year the teacher used a smelly marker for their left hand. And it happened to be dark blue. So the second she marked their hand...you guessed it they immediately put their hand up to their nose to smell it and in the process left a dark blue mustache under and on their nose. Sooo funny. The teacher felt bad. I know it must be exhausting to be a preschool teacher, but seriously...they are so stinking cute. And funny!
After school we all headed to McPherson. Dave, Erin, Derick, Jenn and Jenn's parents, sister and sister's fiance were all there. We all had tics to the KSU/Baylor. Of course Sophia assumed the whole weekend was just for her to celebrate her birthday...which is exactly what it was for. ;) She had a great time at her 1st KSU football game. It was a great game and beautiful day.
This past week E had 2 football games. We played in Ellsworth on Mon. They won. It was still hot. Then on Thur. we went to Pratt. Another big win 40-0...in the wind. Wow. It was windy. But the boys looked good. Here's a highlight vid of Pratt game. This Thursday will be THE BIG ONE. We play Hoisington for league championship. Both teams are undefeated. As they were last year for the last game of the year and Hoisington whipped us. E's class has been talking about this matchup since last year...no joke. So if you want to see a really good game come check out these boys next Thursday. They are so darn fun to watch. Love them!!
Stay away from blue smelly markers...and run to turning 5 and winning football in any weather condition...
