Lainey...

So happy to introduce the newest member to our family... Elaine "Lainey" Benes Skelton. A 2 year old rescue dog. She's super sweet. Very well-behaved (thanks to the prison program that trained her). And a cutie! The kids LOVE her. She's been a lot of fun so far. The only problem to date is that Sophia gets very jealous if Lainey pays more attention to anyone else in the house than her.

I guess you can tell we've stayed with the Seinfeld theme. She seems to be much friendlier than Seinfeld Elaine, but she definitely does a "get out" like Seinfeld Elaine. When she's excited she jumps chest high and taps you with her 2 front paws...hilarious!! I'll put some video of it soon.

She already knows lots of tricks..sit, rollover, dance, speak.

Jon did have one flash back to Newman dog. The 2nd day Lainey was here Evan let her out and Jon had to run 3 blocks before he got her. I'm laughing as I write that. Memories. :) It's looking like Lainey will get a radio active electric fence as we already pulled our old fence out.

Stay away from running away....and run to rescue dogs!!
